Beate Dejaco is a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist at the Sports Medical Center Papendal, Arnhem.
After completing her physiotherapy studies in Utrecht, she pursued orthopaedic manual therapy in Delft/Utrecht, followed by sports physiotherapy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Beate is a member of the TeamNL medical staff.
In addition to her elite sports care and physiotherapy work at Papendal, she is a core lecturer in manual therapy at HAN University of Applied Sciences, within the Master’s program in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Her area of expertise is the shoulder girdle.
She is a PhD candidate at Radboudumc, researching the effectiveness of Virtual Reality interventions in shoulder rehabilitation.
